# Components:
→ Sloppy Joe Base
01 - 1 pound ground turkey
02 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 small green bell pepper, diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
→ Sauce
05 - 1 cup barbecue sauce
06 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
07 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
→ Finishing Touches
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 - 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
# Method:
01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground turkey. Cook, breaking up with a spatula, until meat is lightly browned and no longer pink, about 5–6 minutes.
02 - Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the turkey. Sauté until vegetables soften, approximately 4 minutes.
03 - Stir in barbecue sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix thoroughly to coat turkey and vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
04 - Reduce heat to low and partially cover. Cook for 5–7 minutes, allowing flavors to meld and mixture to thicken.
05 - Spoon generous portions onto toasted hamburger buns. Serve hot and enjoy.
